Pro Guiding Service offers classic mountaineering courses, glacier travel courses and alpine ice climbing courses in North Cascades National Park, on Mount Baker and on Snoqualmie Pass. We firmly believe that our courses take place in some of the best high alpine and glaciated mountains in the Lower 48 states. Several of our guides are part of the AMGA instructor team which assures that our courses are consistent with the latest standard in mountaineering education.

3-Day Mountaineering Course in the North Cascades


This course will give you solid introduction inall aspects of classic mountaineering in the best venue in the lower 48 states, the North Cascades National Park. The immediate access to moderately crevassed glaciers, steep climbing on great rock and exposed ridge travel make the Boston Basin area the ideal setting for a mountaineering course.

Alpental offers excellent access to surprisingly good ice climbing and bolted mixed climbing. You'll only have to tour or snow shoe about 30 minutes to get to our training spot. Both of these very technical disciplines are fun in their own right and can be used as excellent training for aggressive alpine routes.
