Women's Intro to Rock Climbing

This course is identical to our Intro to Rock Climbing course, except there are no boys allowed.
Rock climbing has been around long before the term "extreme sport". Rock climbing is thrilling for everybody right from the start. You can be about as extreme as you want, no matter what your level of expertise. You will learn a lot about the technical aspects of the sport and will learn a lot about yourself.
Everything you learn here will find application in your future mountain travels, weather you are just a hiker who got off trail, or become a mountaineer. The course is designed to concentrate on the technical aspects of climbing. We will cover basic movement on rock, top rope set-ups, anchor systems, sport climbing techniques, placement of natural protection and lead climbing.
Our local crags of Index, the North Bend area or Vantage provide a huge variety of climbing without a time consuming approach.
