This course is designed for the skier who has already taken the intro to Ski Touring Course or has ski touring experience. Here we make the transition to ski touring in a high alpine setting, and the Whistler area could not be more of a perfect location. The lifts will give us easy access to the nearby glaciers where we can work on glacier assessment, navigation in glaciated terrain, crevasse rescue in a winter environment, basic snow climbing, route selection, roped skiing and more.
