Alps Trilogy: Matterhorn, Eiger, Mont Blanc

August 18, 2008 - August 24, 2008
The Matterhorn, the Eiger and Mont Blanc. It barely needs any explaining. These three peaks represent the quintessential mountains of the Swiss and French Alps.

  • Mont Blanc is the most massive mountain in the Alps. It's not very technical by its standard route, but simply huge – and surrounded by the chaotic granite spires of the whole Mont Blanc massif. You will be impressed - guaranteed

  • The Matterhorn is the most beautiful. Even the standard route redefines fourth and easy fifth class terrain for many a climber.

  • The Eiger may be unrivaled in its reputation for epic stories in the Alps – maybe the world. We will climb the Eiger via its famous Mittelegi ridge which lets you look down the massif 6,000 foot Nord Wand and then some. You will feel like you are hanging it out there – guaranteed.
