We are proud to announce the “FIRST TRACKS GUIDED SKI DAY” at Crystal Mountain. No other ski area in Washington can provide this kind of experience. Teaming up with Crystal Mountain Resort, Pro Guiding Service will provide an early Gondola ride to the top of Crystal Mountain, followed by a great breakfast before we embark on a guided ski tour in the near Crystal backcountry.
We will meet you at the base of the Crystal Mountain Gondola at 6:30 in the morning and take the gondola up to top. While the sun is rising, we will enjoy a nice breakfast at the Summit House. Shortly before the lifts open to the public, we will scoot off for a great day of backcountry skiing, lift accessed backcountry skiing or a combination of both. Depending on snow and or weather conditions, we might spend the day in the Crystal Mountain "North Backcountry", ski powder off the Silver King, have a great run down the empty ski area and tour up to Norse Peak. Whatever it may turn out to be, it should be a great day of touring guided by one of our certified ski guides.
The advertised price of $250 per person is based on 3 participants and includes the guiding fee, a single gondola ride and the breakfast. A lift ticket for a day of lift accessed backcountry skiing is not included in the price.

Pro Ski and Mountain Service is our retail specialty store. It has been located in North Bend, WA since 1999.The past trips and courses have had a large influence on what we sell. Many of our Pro Guiding customers come on trips and courses with gear they purchased from our store. Not only do we want our clients to have the right gear for the job; we also receive direct feedback from them while they are using it in the field. Trust us - if the gear does not work - we won't sell it.

The best way to become a better backcountry skier is to take a skitouring course. Both the Alpental backcountry and Crystal Mountain backcountry are amazing training grounds within easy access from Seattle. The course is targeted at the intermediate to advanced alpine skier who would like to start venturing into the backcountry on skis. This is a how-to, when-to course and we believe that the best classroom setting is in the outdoors.
The best way to become a backcountry skier is to take a backcountry skiing course. The ski touring course we offer in the Crystal Mountain backcountry, just under 2 hours from Seattle, will teach you how to plan and execute your own backcountry adventure. We would like to encourage you to combine the ski touring course with one of our AIARE Level 1 courses.
