Snoqualmie Backcountry is a website built to showcase the backcountry skiing and ski mountaineering routes of Snoqualmie Pass. Snoqualmie Pass offers great backcountry skiing, ski mountaineering, and even inbounds and alpine skiing. Close to Seattle, Snoqualmie Pass is the closest ski area and offers world class terrain. Martin Volken, owner of Pro Guide Service and Pro Ski Service has developed and written about many of the ski routes in the Snoqualmie Pass area. Pro Guide Service is a premier guide service guiding trips world wide including Snoqualmie Pass, the greater North Cascades area, the rest of North America, Europe, and Africa. The entire Snoqualmie Pass area has routes throughout, including Alpental Valley, Chair Peak, Roosevelt Peak, Mount Daniel, The Slot Couloir, Mount Snoqualmie,the Snoqalmie Haute Route, the Snoqualmie Little Haute route and lots more.
